The proposed adoption is of a minor, Shresta Somashekar. The adoptive mother is a single parent and practising doctor of Ayurvedic medicine. Both mother and child are present before me. 2.

I have considered the Petition with its annexures and also the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare. I am satisfied that the Petition deserves to be allowed. The Petition is made absolute. 3.
