The Petition can be disposed of with direction to the Slum Rehabilitation Authority ("SRA") to decide all applications that are pending in the present scheme which relates to land at village Chandivali mentioned in paragraph 3.1 of the Petition. We are told that there is a Public Interest Litigation ("PIL") that is pending and it is for this reason that the applications are not being considered. We are not shown that there is any order in the PIL generally restraining the SRA a from considering applications made to it under the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971.
