The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. Disputes arose between the parties under a Development Agreement and deed of rectification dated 29th April 2013 and 23rd September 2013 respectively. On 23rd August 2018, this Court appointed a sole arbitrator to decide these disputes. She entered upon the reference to her arbitration shortly thereafter, and the matter proceeded before her.

The Arbitral mandate ended in September 2019 and the arbitral proceedings have reached the stage of final arguments. 27th February 2020

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate until 30th April 2020 to complete the arbitral proceedings.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
