The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. Disputes arose between the parties under an agreement between them. On 2nd May 2016, this Court appointed a sole arbitrator to decide these disputes. He entered upon the reference to his arbitration shortly thereafter, and the matter proceeded before him.

After the arbitral mandate ended, it was extended three times by orders dated 8th February 2018, 15th October 2018 and 25th July 2019.

The arbitral proceedings are now at the stage of final hearing. 4th March

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate from 24th January 2020 until 30th June 2020 to complete the arbitral proceedings.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
