The Chamber Summons seeks amendment of the plaint. The amendment is merely to reduce the amount of the claim. It is the case of the Plaintiff that during preparation of its affidavit of evidence, certain errors were noticed. Those are sought to be corrected by the present amendment. For the reasons stated in the affidavit in support of it, the Chamber Summons is made absolute in terms of prayer clause -(a). The amendment to be carried out within two weeks. Re-verification is dispensed with.
