The petitioner is the paternal grandmother of the two minor children Tejaswi & Guruprasad Sawant. Her son, who is the father of the minor children, has expired. The mother of the minor children has also expired. The petitioner has produced birth certificates of the minor children and the death certificates of their parents. The petitioner has also produced her ration card in her name showing that two children living with her since they were 3 years of age.

The petitioner has produced her voters card by way of identification. The petitioner is the fit person to appoint guardian of the person and property of the minor children. 3.

The Department of Posts, India where her son worked has called for guardianship certificate for the disbursement of the family pension to the minor children. The petitioner is appointed guardian of the person and the properties of the minor children. The petitioner shall open a separate pension account in the names of two minor children showing her as guardian. The petitioner shall deposit the

jsn GP No.19_2015 pension in the said account. The petitioner shall utilize the said pension amount only for the maintenance and education of the minor children.
