These are the Petitions filed under section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short "the Act") whereby the petitioners have prayed for extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal to complete the arbitral proceedings and publish an award. The mandate is stated to have expired on 2 January 2020. Perusal of the record indicates that the arbitral tribunal had entered reference in August 2021. It is submitted that the proceedings are at the stage that the

Considering the averments as made in the petitions and that the respondents have no objection, the petitions are allowed. The mandate of the arbitral tribunal is extended for a period of one year from today. Ordered accordingly.
