It would be open for the petitioner to approach the Grievance Redressal Committee with request to decide the Second Slum Appeal presented by him within specified time. If the petitioner approaches the appellate authority with a request for expeditious disposal of the Second Slum Appeal, such request shall be considered favourably and the Appeal presented by the petitioner shall be disposed of as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of the approach of the petitioner to the concerned authority. 2.
