The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. The Respondent is absent. 2.

Disputes between the parties arose under an Equipment Lease Agreement and Advertising Agreement. This Court appointed a sole arbitrator by an order dated 4th October 2018. The arbitrator entered upon the reference to her arbitration shortly and the matter then proceeded before her.

The arbitral mandate ended on 12th October 2019. The arbitral proceedings have reached the stage of filing of Petitioner's evidence.

Having regard to these circumstances and the matter being ex-parte, I am extending the arbitral mandate from 12th October 2019 until 30th June 2020 to complete arbitration proceedings. 5.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
