The Judges Order is taken out by the Petitioner seeking direction to the Accounts Offcer of the Bombay High Court to handover the fxed deposits and pay encashment value thereof together with the interest if any to the applicant Kumari Akshata @ Akshita @ Kashish who has since attained majority. 2.
By an order dated 22nd April, 2009, the Guardianship Petition No. 122 of 2008 was made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a) to (d). The Petitioner was permitted to sale the immovable property and assets mentioned in Exhibit A to the said Petition and the share of the then minors Abhishekh and Akshata Vishal Parekar, P.A.

8-jo-20-2021.doc @ Kashish, the applicant herein, was directed to deposit with the Accounts Offcer, who, in turn, was directed to deposit the same with Nationalized bank in a fxed deposit till minors attained majority.

The Petitioner-Applicant asserts that the applicant has attained majority on 15th May, 2020. Copy of the birth certifcate is annexed to the application. The certifcate of balance is issued by the Accounts Offce, reveals that a sum of Rs. 3,72,075/- stands to the credit of the account of the applicant in a fxed deposit in Bank of India, D.N. Road Branch.

As the applicant has attained majority, the Accounts Offcer is directed to handover to the applicant the aforesaid fxed deposit along with accretion and interest thereon.
