The petitioner claims to be a displaced person by MHADA and, according to him, in the earlier round of litigation when Writ Petition No. 6093 of 2016 came to be filed, he was directed to avail the alternative remedy of appeal and exhaust the said remedy. It is further submitted that in spite of filing such an appeal in the month of November 2016, till date the said appeal is not heard and ABS

WP 716-2017 disposed of. Therefore, the petitioner being 80 years old, he is in a great stress and embarrassment.

In the light of such circumstances, without referring to any of the merits involved in the matter, we direct the appellate authority to dispose of the appeal within 2 months from today without being persuaded by any of the contentions in the writ petition.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petitions are disposed of.
