DATE : 29TH AUGUST 2017 P.C This chamber summons is taken out for condoning a delay of 12 years and 7 months in taking out the chamber summons to bring on record the Liquidator of defendant no.1 and consequential amendment to the plaint. In the affidavit in support, it is stated that the plaintiff came to know way-back on 7th June 2004 that defendant no.1 being wound up by the Courts of United Kingdom and Mr. P.M. Boyden through Price Water House Coopers LLP is being appointed as liquidator. No explanation is given as to why they did not move all these years.
In the circumstances, I am not inclined to grant the reliefs sought. Chamber summons dismissed.
