Mr Patil on instructions makes a statement that the Slum Rehabilitation Authority ("SRA") will not act on the demand notices and will not demand payment of the amounts set out in the valuation report impugned in the present Petition. He states that the SRA may be given liberty to appoint a fresh valuer to assess the amount that is payable to Respondent No 5.

We grant SRA that liberty.

So far as the contentions of the Petitioners are concerned regarding an adjustment, that is left open until after a fresh valuation is obtained and communicated by the SRA to the Petitioners. 4.

The Petition is disposed of in these terms. No order as to costs.

In light of this, Mr Patil states that further applications filed by the Petitioners will be taken up for processing in accordance with law.
