The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. Disputes arose between the parties under a Master Services Agreement dated 30th June 2010. The Petitioner and the Respondent appointed their nominee arbitrators on 1st March 2018 and 24th April 2018 respectively. The two arbitrators appointed the presiding arbitrator on 8th August 2018. The tribunal entered upon the reference to its arbitration shortly thereafter, and the matter proceeded before it.

The original arbitral mandate ended and was extended for six months by mutual consent. The extended arbitral mandate ended on 7th February 2020.

The arbitral proceedings have reached the stage of cross examination of Respondent's witnesses.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate from 7th February 2020 until 31st December 2020 to complete the arbitral proceedings.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
