1.
When this matter was mentioned and listed for directions today, both counsel fairly informed that a detailed Judgment was delivered in a batch of writ petitions {Writ Petition No.2433 of 1990 (Videocon International Limited & Anr. vs. Union of India & Ors.) with connected petitions} by this Court on 13-12-2017.
2.
This writ petition involving similar point and issue
suresh 1-WP-874.1992.doc was in fact to be listed and heard along with this batch of petitions but inadvertently not so listed and missed out by the Registry.
3.
Placing a copy of the Judgment and Order dated 13-12-2017 on our file it is stated that the controversy in this writ petition is squarely covered by the said detailed Judgment and Order. Accordingly, this writ petition also stands disposed of in terms of the said Division Bench Judgment in Videocon International Limited (supra). There will be no order as to costs.
