The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996.

There were disputes between the parties in regard to a Contract contained in technical Bid of the Tender dated 1st June 2013. By an order dated 18th June 2018, an advocate of this court was appointed as the sole arbitrator. He entered upon the reference to his arbitration on 29th June 2018 and the matter proceeded before him.

The arbitral proceedings have now reached the stage of cross examination of the claimant's witness. The extended arbitral mandate ended on 29th December 2019.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate until 31st March 2021 to complete the arbitral proceedings.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
