This Petition challenges the reopening notice dated 17th March 2015 issued under section 148 of the Income Tax Act 1961 (the Act) seeking to reopen assessment for AY 201011. 2.

Mr Dalal, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner states that after filing of the present Petition, the Assessing 1/2 VRD

WPL328.16 Officer by order dated 22nd February 2016 has withdrawn the reopening proceedings initiated by the impugned notice dated 17th March 2015. In the above view, Mr Dalal seeks to withdraw the Petition.
