None appeared for the Petitioners when the Petition was called out yesterday. Even today none appears for the Petitioners. The
wp-1915.01 learned Senior Counsel representing the Respondent Nos.5 and 6 state that the entire Scheme governed by the order dated 30th January, 1989 (Exhibit - M to the Petition) passed in exercise of powers under SubSection (1) of Section 20 of the Urban Land (Ceiling and Regulation) Act, 1976 has been implemented. The learned Senior Counsel further states that the tenements which are required to be handed over to the State Government have been handed over and the requisite amounts have been paid.
We accept the said statements. By accepting the said statement, the Petition is disposed of. Rule is discharged. We make it clear that in the event the Petitioners apply for restoration, they will have to satisfy the Court that the cause of action still survives. (A.A. SAYED, J ) (A.S. OKA, J )
