The Petitioner seeks a Legal Heirship Certificate under Section 2 of the Bombay Regulation VIII of 1827 in respect of one Bhaskar Balraj Billa, who is said to have died intestate in Mumbai, where he was ordinarily resident, on 10th January 2012. The Petitioner is his widow. No Will has been found. Bhaskar was survived by the Petitioner (his widow), their one adult son and one adult daughter, and his mother. There are no other heirs. The deceased's mother and two sons have filed consent affidavits. 15th February 2021

The heirship certificate is required in regard to certain immovable property that the deceased held in Nizamabad, Telangana as also in Mumbai.

No other Petition for an Heirship Certificate, Succession Certificate, Probate, or Letters of Administration with or without Will annexed has been filed. There is no impediment to the grant of relief.

The petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clauses (a) and (b) in favour of the Petitioner.
