The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. Disputes arose between the parties under a Share Purchase and Sale Agreement dated 14th October 2005. A sole arbitrator was appointed by the parties by mutual consent. He entered upon the reference to his arbitration shortly thereafter, and the matter proceeded before him.

After the original arbitral mandate ended, it was extended for six months by mutual consent of the parties. The extended mandate ended on 2nd January 2020. The arbitral proceedings have reached the stage of cross examination of the Respondents' witness. 21st February 2020

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate from 2nd January 2020 until 31st December 2020 to complete the arbitral proceedings.
