The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. Disputes arose between the parties under a Development Agreement dated 27th December 2006 and an Addendum Agreement dated 18th March 2017. By an order dated 20th August 2018, an advocate of this court was appointed as the sole arbitrator. He entered upon the reference to his arbitration shortly thereafter and the matter proceeded before him. 21st February 2020

The arbitral proceedings have now reached the stage of cross examination of the Petitioner's witness. The extended arbitral mandate ends on 24th February 2020.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate from 24th February 2020 until 22nd February 2021 to complete the arbitral proceedings.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
