The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996.

Disputes arose between the parties under an Agreement. This Court appointed the Sole Arbitrator was appointed by an Order dated 28th February 2018. The Sole Arbitrator entered upon the reference to its arbitration shortly thereafter, and the matter proceeded before it.

The original arbitral mandate was extended twice before by mutual consent. The extended arbitral mandate ends on 28th February 2020.

The arbitral proceedings have reached the stage of passing an award.

5.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate until 30th June 2020 to complete the arbitral proceedings.

6.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
