The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. Disputes arose between the parties under a contract dated 31st January 2014 which were referred to a sole arbitrator. The arbitration commenced on 31st August 2018. 2.

The extended arbitral mandate ended on 24th February 2020. The arbitral proceedings have reached the stage of cross examination of the Respondent's witnesses.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate from 24th February 2020 until 31st March 2021 to complete the arbitral proceedings.
