The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. Disputes arose between the parties under an Agreement dated November 2008. On 28th August 2017, the parties by mutual consent appointed a sole arbitrator to decide these disputes. He entered upon the reference to his arbitration shortly thereafter, and the matter proceeded before him. 2.

After the original arbitral mandate ended, it was extended for 12 months by mutual consent of the parties. The extended arbitral mandate ended on 28th February 2020.

The arbitral proceedings have reached the stage of final arguments by the parties and the subsequent publication of the award.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate until 31st March 2021 to complete the arbitral proceedings.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
