The only prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is for a direction to the State Government to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner under Section 47 of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 as early as possible. The petitioner seeks the protection of the premises till the appeal is decided. Since the petitioner has filed an appeal under Section 47 of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 on 9.2.2015, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the State Government to Shivgan 1/2

41-wpl-376-15 decide the appeal as early as possible and positively within a period of six months. The premises of the petitioner are protected till the appeal is decided by the State Government.
