The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. Disputes arose between the parties under an Agreement for purchase of a flat dated 31th March 2013. On 4th June 2018, this Court appointed a sole arbitrator to decide these disputes. He entered upon the reference to his arbitration shortly thereafter, and the matter proceeded before him. 2.

The Arbitral mandate, after an extension, ended on 3rd December 2019.

The arbitral proceedings have reached the stage of filing Statement of Defence by the Respondent.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate from 3rd December 2020 until 31st March 2021 to complete the arbitral proceedings.
