By this writ petition, the petitioners have challenged the provisions of Section 27 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. No other prayer is made by the petitioners in the writ petition. The learned counsel for the petitioners states that despite the efforts made by the counsel to trace out the petitioner and secure the instructions from it, no instructions could be secured.

It is most likely that the cause for filing the writ petition is rendered infructuous.
