Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned counsel for the respondent Nos.1 and 6 and the learned counsel for the respondent No.2. A very limited relief is claimed in this petition. The grievance is that the application dated 28th September 2017 is not being decided by the respondent No.6. The learned counsel for the respondent No.6 states that the Government of India has decided to challenge the order 8th December 2017 passed by the National Green Tribunal. It is not necessary for us to decide the issue whether the respondent No.6 is prevented by the said

oswpl501 order dated 8th December 2017 from deciding the application dated 28th September 2017.

Hence, we direct the respondent No.6 to decide the application dated 28th September 2017 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of two months from today. All contentions of the parties are kept open. Writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
