The Writ Petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs: (a) that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue appropriate writ, order and direction directing the Respondents to decide the inquiry pending before the Respondent since last 3 years within a stipulated time on such terms as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper.

(b) Pending hearing and final disposal of this Petition, this Hon'ble Court be pleased to direct the Respondents to return to the Petitioner his Original Notary Certificate which is in custody of the Respondents almost since last 3 years.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner has drawn our attention to the Rozanama/minutes dated 10.08.2020, which states as follows: In the matter of Shri Lalit Doshi (F. No. 11016/6/2016NC) - Complaint of Mrs. Sabita Burges Notices for conducting fresh inquiry were served to Shri Lalit Doshi and Mrs. Sabita Burges on 10.08.2020. Mr. Lalit Doshi along with Mr. Jarim Doshi, AKN 1/2

2/2 16.WP.558.2021.doc Advocate and Mr. V. K. Gulati, Advocate attended the hearing and submitted a rejoinder and other submissions.

Mrs. Sabita Burges also vide email dated 08.08.2020 made her submissions (copy enclosed). The submissions of Mrs. Sabita have been handed over to Shri Lalit Doshi for his explanations. Thereupon, on the submissions of Mrs. Sabita, Shri Lalit Doshi has stated that he will make additional submissions. Mrs. Sabita has also intimated that she would be attending the hearing personally in first week of September. The proceedings in the matter are deferred till the time of in person submissions of Mrs. Sabita Burges.

Inasmuch as the Petitioner through his Advocate has already been heard, let the final order be passed by the Respondent No. 1Law Secretary, Union of India within a period of six weeks from today. 4.

Needless to say that in the event the order is passed in favour of the Petitioner, the Respondents would return the Original Certificate of Notary to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of the passing of the order.
