This petition is presented pursuant to Section 58(3) of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act and the Rules framed thereunder. The petitioner is the Maharashtra State Government Women Council Adoptive Home at Asha Sadan. The co-petitioners / prospective adoptive parents seek to adopt, minor female child Ziva, who has been certified free for adoption by the Child Welfare Committee on 26 th December 2019.

Perused the minutes of the adoption committee meeting dated 31 st 1/2 1A-IAP-21-2020.doc Dixit

January 2020 and the certificate of safe custody and placement in Asha Sadan dated 7 th October 2019. Considered the motivation to adopt and other documents. The learned counsel for the petitioners have also produced, by way of a separate compilation, today the recent salary slips of the copetitioners and information regarding investments and properties held by them. Child study report is on record, so is the Home study report issued by Tirunelveli Social Service Society, a project under the Ministry of Women and Child Development in partnership with the State Government at Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. I have also considered the averments in the petition and the affidavit of Ms. Jayalakshmy K. of Asha Sadan, Mumbai dated 2 nd February 2020.

Having perused the aforesaid, I am of the view that this petition is liable to be allowed. Accordingly, I pass the following order :- (i) Petition is made absolute and in terms thereof, the Judge's Order is signed separately.

(ii) Petition is disposed in the above terms.

(iii) This order shall be digitally signed by the Private Secretary of the court.
