Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner on this petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act,1996. The petitioner seeks extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal for a period of three months from today. It is informed that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments.

My attention is also drawn to a letter dated 24 February 2020 of the Advocate for the respondent who also have given his consent for extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal for a period of three months. 3.

In the above circumstances, the petition is required to be allowed. It is accordingly allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) which shall be with effect from today.

Disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
