DATE: 31st JANUARY, 2019 P.C.:- 1] Petitioner has approached this Court challenging the show cause notices dated 16/8/2013 and 8/12/2014.

2] However, during the pendency of the Petition, inquiry proceedings are completed and the Petitioner has been served with penalty order, thereby imposing penalty of demotion for a period of three years.

3] Being aggrieved by the said order, Petitioner has already 1/2

(903)-WP-947-17.doc preferred an appeal before the Appellate Authority. 4] In that view of the matter, we find that it will be appropriate that the Petitioner pursues the appellate remedy to which he has already taken recourse to.

5] In the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Appellate Authority is directed to decide the appeal within a period of three months from today.

6] Petition is accordingly disposed of.
