The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners states that applications dated 24th and 29th November, 2017 filed by the petitioners have not been disposed of as yet by the Municipal Corporation. The learned counsel appearing for the Municipal Corporation has no instructions on this aspect.

wpl-596.18.odt The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners states that the petitioners have invoked Rule 6.2.4 of Water Charges Rules and Sewage and Waste Rules effective from 1st April, 2015 for making the said Applications.

Considering the limited grievance made in this Petition, we dispose of the Petition by passing the following order :-

ORDER

(i) If applications dated 24th and 29th November, 2017 (Exhibit - A and A-1) are still pending, the same shall be decided by the second and third respondents as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of four weeks from today;

(ii) We make it clear that we have made no adjudication on the merits of the application.
