This petition is wrongly on board. The Hon'ble Supreme Court by an order dated 31st March, 1997 had allowed the transfer petition filed by the Union of India, transferring this petition from this Court to the Apex Court. The Apex Court has finally disposed of this petition along with another case reported as Ajay Gandhi & Anr. Vs. B. Singh & Ors. (and another case) 265 ITR 451.
