By this writ petition, petitioner has sought a direction to the respondents to provide reservation to the physically handicapped students for admission to the post graduation course in medical sciences for the academic year 19992000. On a reading of the prayer clause, it appears that the cause for filing this writ petition is rendered infructuous. The petitioner had applied for the admission for the post graduation medical course in the year 1999. More than 18 years have lapsed from the date of filing of the petition.
