By notification dated 30th November, 2015 the State Government published a list of various dates on which various anniversaries and other events were to be celebrated by the State Government in the calender year 2016. The last one was to be held on 26th November, 2016. Hence, with the passage of time, this Petition will not survive.

The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners states that the Petitioners have a grievance about similar notification published for the year 2017. If that be so, it is for them to adopt appropriate remedy in that behalf. Subject to what is observed above, the Petition is disposed of.
