Mr Deshmukh states all that the Petitioners seek is that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation ("BMC") should certify the areas under occupation of each of the Petitioners. This is the process mandated in law.

The area statement is to be given by the 3rd Respondent, the owner and will be physically verified by the BMC. 3.

Ms Adhate correctly states that the process required by law will be followed and all necessary steps would be taken. No further orders are required.
