The petition challenges Regulation 8.10 and Regulation 19.17 of the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum and Electricity Ombudsman) Regulations, 2020. The Affidavit in Reply at paragraph 6.3 (page

427) says that there are other Writ Petitions that have been assigned to a Division Bench at Aurangabad Bench. This is because PIL No.5 of 2021 and Writ Petition No.418 of 2021 challenging these Regulations were filed before the Aurangabad Bench. 19-OSWP-683-2021.DOC There is a tagging of the Writ Petitions in Aurangabad. Lastly, there is an Administrative order of 21st September, 2021 of the Hon'ble the Chief Justice directing clubbing of all matters together before the Aurangabad Bench.

We think it would be appropriate for the Registry to obtain suitable directions in regard to the present petition also. If this matter is to be transferred to the Aurangabad Bench, the parties will be informed accordingly by the Registry.
