Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that being aggrieved by the order passed by the Chief Executive OfÏcer, SRA on 11th January 2021, the Petitioners have filed an application under section 13(2) of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (I.C.&R.) Act, 1971 against Respondent Nos.5 and 6. The Petitioners have raised various grounds in the petition. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that during the pendency of petition, the competent authority- CEO, SRA (Respondent No.3) heard the proceeding on 23rd July 2021. Our attention was invited to the caption with "Order Sheets", i.e., Roznama. Perusal of the said order sheets / roznama shows that Respondent No.3 had fixed the hearing on 23rd July 2021 in pursuance of the notice issued to the parties on 13th July 2021. and apart from the written arguments, parties have also made their oral submissions before the authority. The matter was closed for orders on 23rd July 2021. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that in view of these facts, the Petitioner is expecting some order by the authority within a reasonable time but ill date order is not passed. This being a limited grievance, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition at the admission stage with a direction to respondent no.3 to pass order on the application as early as possible and not later than six weeks from today. All contentions on merits are kept open. 2.
