The Petition is for leave under Clause XII of the Letters Patent. The proposed suit is for recovery of an amount due from the Defendants. According to the Plaintiffs, the repayment of the invested amount was to be made in Mumbai where the original investment was made. Proposed Defendants Nos. 1 and 2 are outside the jurisdiction of this Court. A material part of the cause of action has arisen within the jurisdiction of this Court. I am satisfied that with leave granted under Clause XII of the Letters Patent, this Court will have the jurisdiction to entertain and try the suit. 24th April 2019
