The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that Petitioner has filed an application in the year 2009 seeking appointment on the compassionate ground. Yet no decision has been taken. 2.

The learned counsel appears for the Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 and submits that there is a gross delay in approaching the Court. 3.

As the application seeking appointment on the compassionate ground is pending with Respondent No. 2 (as contended by the Petitioner) then if the said application is pending, the Respondent No. 2 shall take a decision on its own merits and in accordance with law and policy, preferably within four months.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
