1. This is the petition presented pursuant to Section 58(3) of the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2015, pertaining to the proposed adoption of a minor girl presently with Asha Sadan. Mr. O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of ICSW, is granted leave of absence due to Covid-19 Protocol and submissions he has sent in by email.

2. The minor was born in Mumbai on 19th March, 2015 and admitted to Asha on 16th July, 2015. The prospective adoptive parents are residents of Bengaluru Karnataka. The prospective adoptive parents have been married for the past 24 years with no biological children. They are gainfully employed.
3. The child has been declared free for adoption. The Child Adoption Committee of M.S.W.C. has approved the proposed adoption. The Home Study Report and Child Study Report are found satisfactory. Motivation letter to adopt is on record. The child is appears to be well placed in the family. The postplacement report dated 3rd November, 2020 has been produced today. The same is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. It records that the child is healthy and eating well, emotional, physical and social, bonding with the prospective adoptive parents and other family members and neighbors and is also active and has also learnt to converse in Kannada.
4. The concerned social worker has certified the aforesaid photographs show the child is effectively engaged in creative activity and play. In view of the aforesaid, I am of the view that the petition can be allowed.

5. Therefore I pass the following order;
(i) Petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clauses (a) to (e) except that the time taken for birth certificate shall be read as 10 working days. The child shall not be offered for further adoption.
(ii) Judge's order is signed separately.
(iii) Petition is disposed in the above terms. Assistant of this Court.
