The petition is presented through Asha Sadan. It seeks authorization of adoption of minor female child by the adoptive parents both of whom are said to be Indian citizens and residents of Pune. The Child Welfare Committee has certified the child to be legally free for adoption on 29 th January, 2020.

The prospective adoptive parents are married since 31 st May, 2010 and have no biological children. The prospective adoptive father is gainfully employed and is also said to be engaged in a private business unrelated to employment in the name and style of Asmi Marketing. The prospective adoptive mother is also employed with a fashion designing firm. Income documents are on record. Home study report dated 17 th January, 2018 is also on record. Child study report dated 29 th January , 2020 is also on record. Declaration of consent and willingness of the adoptive parents is found to be satisfactory so are the medical reports of the child and prospective adoptive parents. The child is free for adoption. Minutes of the Adoption Committee dated 28 th February, 2020 recommends adoption.

I am satisfied that the adoption is in the best interest of the child. Accordingly, Judges order is signed separately. Undertakings are accepted. Petition is disposed in terms of the above. 4.
