The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is challenging the amendment to the Banking Regulation Act, 1949.

The Apex Court in its order dated 14th October 2022 transferred the writ petitions pending before various High Court to the High Court of Madras. The present writ petition is also included in the same.

In view of that, the Registry shall take necessary steps immediately in the matter.
