The above Notice of Motion has been filed for seeking expeditious hearing of the above Writ Petition. The Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order of removal from service passed against the Petitioner. It appears that the Petitioner has already attained the age of superannuation during the pendency of the above Writ Petition. The Writ Petition is of the year 2009. Though the Affidavit-in-Reply has been filed opposing the Notice of Motion filed for expeditious hearing, we are of the view that considering the fact 1/2

(22) NMW 158-17.doc that the Petition is of the year 2009, it would be just and proper to allow the Notice of Motion. The same is, accordingly, allowed and made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a).
