In view of the statement made by the Petitioner in Writ Petition (L) No. 1711 of 2016 that he will withdraw the Writ Petition (L) No. 666 of 2015 which is the present Writ Petition No. 2291 of 2015, the learned counsel for Respondent No. 5 submits that this Petition does not survive. Be that as it may, since no one is appearing for the Petitioner, the Petition stands dismissed for want of prosecution.
