Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

This Chamber Summons seeks taking on record written statement of the Defendant by condoning the delay of 482 days. For the reasons stated in the affidavit in support of the chamber summons, chamber summons is allowed in terms of prayer clause -(a), subject to the Defendant's paying costs of the chamber summons, quantified at Rs.10,000/-, to the Plaintiff. The costs to be paid within two weeks and shall be a condition precedent. After two weeks, subject to proof being shown of payment of costs, Office to accept the written statement of the Defendant.
