The petitioner had fled an application for conversion of the writ land from Occupancy Class II to Occupancy Class I land. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said application is not decided as yet.

According to the petitioner, the frst application was fled on 2nd November 2019 and thereafter, by way of reminder, applications were fled on 23rd November 2021 and 24th February 2022.

The learned Government Pleader, on instructions of respondent No.3, submits that the application fled by the petitioner for conversion of the writ land from Occupancy Gaikwad RD 1/2

53.WPNo.15772022.doc Class-II to Occupancy Class-I would be decided on its own merits preferably within eight weeks. The statement is accepted.

In view of such statement, the writ petition is disposed of.

The petitioner may represent himself before the Authority if the petitioner so desires to.
