18 months period has expired on 9th March, 2018. The arbitral proceeding is at evidence stage. 9 more witnesses are likely to be examined. Time to make an award is extended by a period of 12 months from 10th March, 2018. It is made clear that no further extension would be granted. Parties to co-operate with each other and with the arbitral tribunal in rendering an award within the extended period. Petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. There shall be no order as to costs. Parties are directed to convey this order to the arbitral tribunal.

502-CARBPL-308-2018 made by the petitioner against the respondents, if any, in view of the fact that this petition filed by the petitioner is under Section 29(A) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The learned counsel for the respondents undertakes that his client would file vakalatnama in favour of an advocate within one week from today. Undertaking is accepted.
