IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY
ORDINARY ORIGINAL CIVIL JURISDICTION PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION NO.38 OF 2012 Adv. Srikant Padhi ... Petitioner Vs.
Union of India and Ors.
... Respondents None for the Petitioner.
Dr. G. R. Sharma a/w Mr. D.P. Singh for the Respondents. CORAM : A.S. OKA & P.N. DESHMUKH, JJ.
DATE :
9th FEBRUARY, 2018 P.C.
Perused the order dated 18th January, 2018. In terms of the said order, an intimation was issued to the Advocate for the petitioner as well as to the petitioner. Office report shows that though Advocate for the petitioner was not served, intimation has been served on the petitioner who is also a practicing Advocate. None has appeared for the petitioner. We are not sure whether in view of subsequent events the challenge to Memorandum dated 16th November, 2010 will survive. Therefore, we dispose of this Petition. Rule is discharged. We, however, make it clear that we have made no adjudication on the merits of the controversy and all contentions remain open.
